Signal groups usually mislead with their results, and that’s why I trade with small volumes and thus test the recommended and later also my own settings. After a long time, if the group is not making a profit, I adjust the parameters and wait again for some time (in months). I have been doing this on Cornix on all my paid signal groups since 2022. My experience is that the admin of any group is not willing to provide historical data or other help. Another experience is that the recommended group settings do not work in every market. Based on the fact that Cornix has all this historical information, it would be very desirable to test how the historical trads would look with other settings for signal processing in Cornix. Then Cornix would become a very powerful and useful tool in autotrading.
I agree, this is a big deal. I’ve asked for a csv dump from some signal providers and they play dumb and dance around the issue.so i lose confidence in what they are saying. If I could actually back test I would feel a lot better.
