Enhanced Marketplace Signal Configuration and Exchange Support#571

G

Current Limitation

The current marketplace system only reflects signal performance based on Binance trading activity, and utilizes a trading configuration that is internally maintained by Cornix. This approach introduces a discrepancy between how signals are actually intended to function by their creators and how they are represented to potential subscribers. Furthermore, users have no visibility into how these signals would perform on other exchanges such as Bybit, which many traders actively use.

Proposed Enhancement

Signal Owner-Defined Configuration
Allow signal owners to upload or define their own trading configuration (TP/SL levels, entry logic, filters, etc.) for their signals. This configuration should be the one used to generate marketplace performance statistics, ensuring that the marketplace reflects the true intent and structure of the signal.
Multi-Exchange Performance Simulation
Enable signal owners to choose one or more supported exchanges (e.g. Binance, Bybit) to simulate or backtest their signal performance. This allows:
A more accurate depiction of performance across different liquidity environments and fees.
Users to choose signals based on how they perform on their preferred exchange.
Greater transparency and flexibility for both owners and subscribers.
Benefits

Improved transparency and trust in the marketplace.
Better alignment between signal design and representation.
Support for a broader trader base using exchanges beyond Binance.
Enhanced owner autonomy over how their signal is presented and evaluated.
Optional Additions

Add a toggle or dropdown on the marketplace to let users view results by exchange and configuration version.
Allow signal owners to tag configurations with notes or version names (e.g. “Scalping_v2 for Bybit”).
