Dear Cornix Team,
There’s one behavior in Cornix that’s driving me crazy — the bot automatically closes open trades when an opposite signal is received.
I trade using a hedging-based strategy without stop losses, and I manage all open positions manually. Cornix is only used to open positions for me. Right now, I’m forced to delete the trade from Cornix as soon as it’s opened (so it stays active on the exchange), just to prevent it from being closed by an opposite signal.
Feature Request:
Please add an option in the settings that allows users to choose whether opposite signals should close existing positions or not.
Additionally, it would be great to have a related option that prevents opening a new trade in the same direction if one is already open.
Thank you for considering this — it would make Cornix much more flexible for users who trade with custom or hedging strategies.
Best regards,
Miodrag
Additional Note
I’ve also noticed that Cornix does not always close positions on opposite signals immediately — it seems to happen only if the opposite signal arrives after a few hours. This inconsistency makes the auto-close behavior unpredictable.
Including this observation might help fine-tune the setting to give users full control over when and if opposite signals should close trades.
