Hey guys! Just want to verify that you’re all familiar with the first entry grace feature, it basically allows you to mimic market entry but without the risk for infinite slippage. you can set the percentage you’re willing to buy above the signal entry price if the price has been reached but not enough liquidity for your entry to be filled.

For this modified first entry grace, do you have a timeline for us please?
We keep missing the best trades. Just some stats for your reference: Depending on the month, between 30 to 40% of the trades are misses by the bots because they hit the target before entry. So basically, those are the trades that have the best momentum to reach TP but the bot misses them because we don’t have the necessary “tools” to catch them. Last weekend we missed about 25 profitable trades. Adding more to the frustration, the bots entered instead on many weak momentum trades and many of those eventually hit the Stop-loss. This needs to be balanced in order for us to be profitable, and the only way to do it is to either provide us with with that viable first entry grace feaure (the modified version you proposed and is now in planning), or allow us to enter the trade at market price (like it’s possible with your TradingView bots). Normally, both options should be made available in the bot configuration.

We don’t expect to be ahead of the game and beat the market, but at the same time we cannot accept to remain behind the game by missing all those strong momentum trades.
Many of us have invested a lot of money and huge no. of hours in the whole setup. I am with Cornix since begining of July last year and since then I have been testing, running bots in live, loosing, re-assessing, testing again, running bots in live again, losing again, etc.
Please we need this modified first entry grace feature to be available earliest as possible. What is your estimate, when can we expect it to be released?

Hi Mihai, I completely agree with you. I’ve also faced similar issues due to the lack of this feature, missing out on many trading opportunities. It’s really frustrating to see the bot enter less promising trades while the better opportunities slip away. I also hope that this update will be implemented as soon as possible to avoid further losses. Thanks for expressing the situation so clearly!

The implementation of Market Price Entry is crucial to optimizing trading efficiency and improving profitability. Instead of Cornix spending resources on additional statistical analysis, exporting stats or design elements, which can be time-consuming and offer nothing, focusing on this feature would deliver immediate, practical value. We need this feature ASAP!

Please add a function to enter a trade immediately when a signal comes. We keep missing the best trades.

Since the modified first entry graced is in Planning phase, please also include an option in the bot configuration to enable/disable the adjustment of the TPs with the set first entry grace. So let’s say if I configure a first entry grace of 0.2%, to have the possibility to adjust the TPs to be: the original (channel signal) TPs + the 0.2% (always + of course).
Would make sense to have a button to be turned On/ Off, in the Take-profits section of the bot configuration.
A big pro not only for us but also for Cornix and the exchanges is that it will spread more the Sell/Buy prices (when TP is taken) in a certain range (which will be larger than it currently is). That’s because some will activate it (the adjust TPs with the first entry grace %), some will leave it Off, some will have different first entry grace % than others, and maybe some will not have first entry grace% enabled at all.

The way I see it, by giving users more options like this, it would be beneficial in mitigating/reducing that Sell/Buy wall that now exists (since now everybody has the same TPs and entry prices, or at least the range is too narrow now, which pretty much makes it a wall).

Please let us know if this is feasible.
