Conditions Driven Actions#97

Hello,

I find Cornix a very promising service. I believe, that we’d all highly benefit from adding conditions driven actions to all bots.

E.g. I’d like DCA bots to recalculate entry points, when the price drops by certain %. So one of the actions could be “Recalculate entry points” with a condition “Price drops by 10%”. Another condition could prevent the bots to place buy orders, when the trend is negative. So the action could be “Delay buy orders” with the condition driven by hourly/daily trend indicator.

I’m sure that your team can come up with other helpful actions. With those in place, we could do with your bots pretty much “everything”.

I’m looking forward to this and other great features you’ll implement.

Another great example which came to my mind could be MACD 12 26 close 9 indicator conditions. We could drive DCA bots decisions by the change in the indicator. E.g. I’d like to try a strategy which is driven by the shift in indicator. When it changes and there is existing profit, I’d like the bot to take the profit, but leave the rest of the coins in place. I.e. this way we could protect profit and, if there is significant trend change, sell the rest. But as long as long-/medium-term trend indicates grow, keep the coins. Just protect profit piece by piece. In this use-case you can identify 3 different conditions which could drive bot decisions and actions.

Edit: even within the MACD 12 26 close 9 indicator conditions we could identify different levels of the indicator, like weak buy/sell, strong b/s, very strong and so on.
